Mr Rice 2

Spawned from French classes and Treasure Hunt, made back in 1994, while there is parallax, there is no plot. Try to kill the enemy.

There are two methods of controlling our hero; mouse and keyboard.
Keyboard control is simple. Use the arrow keys for movement and aiming. CTRL will make Mr Rice fire his selected gun. SPACE - if standing still -
will make Mr Rice fall onto his belly. From here he can still crawl aim and fire his gun. If crawling, Mr Rice will stand. Next to a bonus, Mr Rice will pick up that
bonus and use it. Next to a lift or door, he will activate or deactivate it.
Next to a vehicle, he will climb in and use it. Inside a vehicle, he will climb out.
ALT will have Mr Rice leap athletically into the air.
W: This will tell you the current weapon you are holding.
1,2...9,0 ; + - is the gun selector.
J: If you have one, this is the jetpack toggle.
B: If you have one, this is the riceboard toggle.

F1 :Help toggle. Use this for aiming the gun, or mouse practice.
F2 :Parallax toggle. It has 3 settings; all on, half on and all off.
F3 :Screen computer toggle.
F4 :Foreground graphics toggle.
F5 :Turbo mode toggle. This will only work on some machines.

S: Save the game; then press the number on the keyboard that corrisponds to the slot in which you wish to save you game. This only works for a limited time.
Using the mouse, to go left, point the cursor to the far left of Mr Rice and press the right button. To go right, point the cursor to the
far right of Mr Rice and press the right button. Aiming is done by positioning the cursor for the Gun above or below Mr Rice
and pressing the right button. To fire, press the left button.

Weapons
|
The enemy has very stupidly leftmany guns, bonuses and medipacks around the numerous levels you will play. Some of the main weapons include:
1 - Pump laser: The default weapon, and some say the weediest.
Mr Rice uses this gun at first to give the enemy a chance. It fires rapid bursts of moderately powerful red light.
2 - Land mine: A square shaped charge that causes huge amounts of damage if used correctly.
3 - Laser rifle:This is more like it! A very powerful gun that kills very thoroughly.
4 - Machine gun: A rapid fire weapon. Okay, it's an Uzi. You can kill many thousands of nasties with this gorgeous weapon.
5 - Chain gun: Even more totally devastating than the Uzi.
This needs no pause to reload. The mere force of this weapon will shove dieing nasties several metres before they finally hit the dirt.
6 - Shot gun: A shot gun. Just like in real life, it is excellent at close range, but crapper at long range.
But, at long range, the enemy can't shoot you either, so don't worry about it.
7 - The MISSILE launcher: This large weapon fires big missiles. They will kill anything that they hit.
If you shoot one at a badguy near you, they will kill you too. 'Tis a very nice weapon to add to your armoury.
8 - Flame thrower: This sort of burns things. Then they die.
9 - Grenades: Throw them, run away, then they explode. They will kill things near them effectively.
If used 'just right' they will propel nasties several metres into the air.
0 - X-Ray laser: THE most powerful laser I could invent. Use it wisely: All the time and kill every body.

Vehicles

Some of the more popular vehicles you can use are...
The Helicopter: This flys and has a side mounted chaingun. It's second weapon is the grenade dropper. This has moderate armour,and can withstand several hits.
The automobile: A heavily armed and armoured car. This has a front mounted chain gun and missile launcher. It can withstand several direct missile shots.
The motercycle: An altered version of a very nice motercycle. This has been fitted with a turbo laser cannon and a jump pack.

Bosses

At the end of each chapter, you will have to kill a guardian. This is easy because they are
very stupid. All you have to do is figure out it' s method of
attack, and dodge it. Later on, they are harder to kill,
but this is only because they have more weapons, but by then
you will probably have a missile launcher anyway, so don't worry.
